2009 April 15
It may be Wednesday, but:
- We filed our taxes without an extension for the first time in three years.
- I managed to squeeze in TWO cups of coffee this morning.
- Just got let off the hook for what would have been a two-and-a-half hour meeting.
- The sun is out, and by noon it will be in the 70s.
- On this day three years ago, one of my dearest friends met her now-husband on a plane. I love remembering the story of how two of our favorite people met and why they so highly recommend Southwest Airlines.
I just had lunch with J who immediately asked, “Did you see our blog shout-out?” What a wonderful thing to see (and for you to say!) in the middle of an ugh work week. Congrats on all your little victories today and I hope the pretty weather lasts well into your weekend!
the day is lovely, but my sweet little boy isn’t… he has been rather testy lately and that is putting it lightly… so I will not take this day… despite the beautiful weather.
