…and the sky cleared.

May 18, 2009

At long last, we spent a weekend outside. It felt like starting over.

We visited with friends, worked in the yard and enjoyed the weather (like the last bowl of porridge, it was just right).

Jack, who seems to be getting some relief from teething, had his happiest run in I don’t know how long. There were a few fussy moments, but he was largely happy to entertain himself, playing around me while I cooked and cleaned and folded laundry or watching his dad work outside.  This is so new and different that I feel like I’m getting to know him all over again. Exhale.

See many lovely moments this Monday at Tracey Clark’s.
