Happiness and cheer

December 24, 2009

Another reason I’m glad we’re boarding at my mother’s for the holidays: Christmas with all the trimmings. Holiday decorating just isn’t the same when your walls are bare to the studs.

Warm wishes, everybody.

(Especially to my husband, whose birthday we celebrated last night with dinner and a dozen or so close friends. Because we really know how to party, we chased that with a midnight trip to Wal-Mart for the makings of Christmas dinner.  It was even more exciting than last Wednesday night, when we stayed up ’til the wee hours writing holiday cards.)

Merry Christmas!
